Check out the daily skate schedule before you head out as the Oval is closed for regular maintenance periods throughout the day.
Afterwards, head to a nearby café like Café Lara, Dilly Dally Coffee Cafe, Glitter Bean Café, or Alteregos Café for a hot drink and a treat!
Plan an overnight stay and hit the pool – indoors that is! Several hotels throughout Nova Scotia have pools and waterslides available for guests to enjoy. Check out these places to stay and don’t forget to pack your swimsuit!
Check out Ross Farm Museum during March Break to visit the animals, take part in an artifact hunt, and enjoy tasty treats including homemade ice cream. If weather allows, enjoy a sleigh ride and a cup of hot chocolate afterwards.

Spend the day and catch the winter sunset.
