Our accommodations include 102 hotel units (King, Queen, Double, Twin): with 4-piece bath, television, telephone, clock radio, coffee maker, hair drier, iron and ironing board, wireless internet access and air conditioning; some with a balcony and an ocean view. One newly renovated wheelchair accessible unit with a queen bed and roll-in shower.

Our 12 chalets include a 4-piece bath, television, telephone, and a deck with a barbecue. Cots are available. Guest features include Oak and Oar Eatery, Three Sheets Bar + Social, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, new hot tub, sauna, tennis court, Shuffle board, Sports Pad, mini-golf, beach, a marina, conference and banquet facilities. All our rooms are non-smoking. Pets are welcome at no additional cost; but visitors must advise us when making a reservation.

While staying with us, explore the South Shore’s scenic coastal vista, historic attraction, as well as the captivating and vibrant communities along the way. Visit Lunenburg – a UNESCO World Heritage Site – explore the historic waterfront, take a walking tour of the town and visit the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic.  Other nearby experiences includes Ross Farm, Nova Scotia’s Living Museum of Agriculture; the charming town of Mahone Bay; and the scenic fishing village of Peggy’s Cove.  The South Shore area also boasts jogging and cross-country ski trails, boat cruises, sailing, golfing, and sandy beaches.

For generations, Oak Island Resort & Conference Centre’s home along the south shore of Nova Scotia has offered a safe-haven for seafarers and a launch point for great adventurers. Fortunately, our guests and fellow Oceanholics are free to SEAze the day – every day – with our full-service, on-site marina. Operational from mid-May through mid-October, we offer 43 berths and six moorings. Visitors can also purchase fuel with us and take advantage of our popular Dock & Dine, tie up your boat with us and enjoy a spectacular meal at Oak and Oar Eatery. Whether you’re starting an ocean journey, or seeking sanctuary from the seas, we welcome you to our marina.
