Overview

Located at 5 Oak Island Drive, the Oak Island Interpretive Centre is the starting point for the island’s guided tour experience and the best place to discover the story behind Nova Scotia’s most famous treasure hunt. Visitors can view a curated collection of artifacts, displays, and interpretive exhibits that explore more than 230 years of Oak Island history and legend.

Open 7 days a week, the Interpretive Centre welcomes both tour participants and independent visitors. Admission to the Centre is $5 per person. Guests are invited to explore the exhibits at their own pace or join a guided tour of Oak Island, home to the world’s longest-running treasure hunt, which began in 1795.
