- Bluenose II: Ramps to enter and exit the schooner allow for this Nova Scotia icon to be wheelchair accessible. Tide times can impact accessibility due to ramp positioning.

- The Chester Playhouse: Lower and upper lobby, and theatre are accessible with a wheelchair accessible seating area provided. Service Animals are permitted in the theatre.

- Old Fish Factory Restaurant & Ice House Bar at Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic: Wheelchair accessible inside dining and summertime wharf-side patio. Located within the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic building.
- Acadian Maple Products and Black Harbour Distillers both are wheelchair accessible buildings.
- The Shore Club, famous for their lobster dinners and live entertainment, Elliot’s Dining Room at White Point Beach Resort, and the Oak and Oar Eatery at Oak Island Resort are all wheelchair accessible.
- Fancy Pants Café: Wheelchair accessible patio and restaurant with accessible washroom.
Outdoor Activities, Parks, Trails and Tours
- Peggy’s Cove viewing platform: Constructed in 2021, the fully accessible viewing platform, new sidewalks in the village, and public wheelchair accessible washroom facilities makes this much-visited attraction accessible for all. Nearby visitor information centre also has an accessible washroom.
- Jerry Lawrence Provincial Park: Wheelchair accessible trails, fishing wharf, barrier-free vault toilet.
- Salty Dog Sea Tours: People with mobility devices, including wheelchairs, can board the “Tritoon” Triple Hulled Pontoon boat for tours around Oak Island.
- Rissers Beach Provincial Park: Mobi mat located at the day-use beach.
