Nestled along the rocky shoreline of Shelburne Harbour, between towering, century-old pines, Boulder Cove Cottages await your visit. An undiscovered natural seaport, Shelburne County has a smorgasbord of leisurely activities to offer the most particular of travellers and we will be your host to an authentic, Maritime vacation.
With 50 acres of wilderness to explore and 2000 feet of shoreline trails to walk, Boulder Cove can offer a secluded feeling of peace and quiet with the convenience of small town necessities, beaches, and golf all just minutes away. Take a leisurely stroll along the beautiful Historic Shelburne Waterfront and explore the rich and varied culture of Shelburne, from its Loyalist past to its proud history of boat building. Walk along nearby Carleton Village Beach, where you may come across sunbathing seals, or Roseway Beach further down the road, where there is breakwater ocean swimming and surfing as well as prime bird watching to be had. Take in a show at the local Osprey Theatre year round.
We are proud to offer unique romance packages for those on honeymoons or looking for a relaxing retreat for two. And don’t forget our fresh lobster vacations December to May, the most important reason to visit the South Shore in the winter months.
Our accommodations include five air conditioned, 2-bedroom waterfront cottages (Queen-sized bed) with a 4-piece bath (air-jet or whirlpool tub). Our Pubnico Cottage is wheelchair accessible.
Sit back and relax in each of our cottages’ open-air living room with pull-out sofa bed and satellite television. Washer, dryer and telephone are available, and wireless Internet access is available. There is a play area for children, and walking trails, bikes, fishing rods, rowboat, kayaks, canoeing and ocean swimming for the more adventurous. Take advantage of the view from your private deck overlooking Birchtown Bay. Enjoy our covered patio decks with propane barbecue and relaxing patio furniture. Leashed dogs are permitted for a small fee.
