Torpedo Rays was established in 1997 with the aim of providing high quality service to the scuba diving community within the Nova Scotia. As a PADI 5 Star IDC Centre, Torpedo Rays is Halifax’s premier scuba diving facility that guarantees the highest standards of quality in terms of teaching, safety and services for the recreational, technical and freediving communities. At Torpedo Rays, our rental equipment is renewed every year to guarantee your comfort and safety and we carry every major brand. Rentals include diving equipment from tanks and masks, snorkels and fins to wetsuits and drysuits (must be certified as a Drysuit Diver, or have received a drysuit orientation from Torpedo Rays). You can also book a rental package for your specific needs, including:

Torpedo Rays also provides guided local dives for individuals and small groups that includes transportation to and from the dive site from our Dartmouth shop.
