The Dartmouth Multi-use Trail, part of the Trans Canada Trail, is a 7-km (4.5-mi) walking and biking trail that runs parallel to the Shubenacadie Canal along Lake Banook and Lake Micmac in Dartmouth. The trail is marked at 1-km intervals.
