The Woodlots at Croft Lake is a private, modern woodland retreat located in Chester Basin on Nova Scotia’s South Shore. Designed for up to four guests, the contemporary Scandinavian-inspired design of this cabin, along with its peaceful natural setting overlooking the surrounding forest, allows guests to unplug and relax. We invite you to relax in the large, wood-fired/electric hot tub, gather around the outdoor fire pit, enjoy the indoor wood-burning fireplace, or simply unwind in the quiet of the property.
A private trail from the cabin leads through the woods to Croft Lake where guests can swim, paddle, kayak or canoe from the dock. Bicycles and snowshoes are also provided as the property connects directly to the Rum Runners Trail, a popular trailway for walking and cycling.
The Woodlots is well positioned for exploring the South Shore, with the towns of Chester, Oak Island in Western Shore, Mahone Bay and Lunenburg all within a short drive.
