The Senator is a historic 1895 Queen Anne building, located in the heart of Liverpool. It has been carefully renovated to preserve its traditional features while adding modern comforts.

Each of the 5 luxury suites has a one-of-a-kind decor. Enjoy wood floors, spacious rooms, antique furnishings, stained glass windows, stylish lighting fixtures, and charming features like a ‘turret’ space.

  • All suites include: Ensuite baths (some with jacuzzis), high-speed wifi, extra-comfortable beds, air conditioning, heating.
  • Four suites have fully-equipped kitchens, and dining space; one has a kitchenette while several suites have private entrances.
  • Laundry facilities are available for guest use. We are pet friendly.

The Senator is a perfect base to explore the Town of Liverpool, and the South Shore of Nova Scotia.

Explore Liverpool by foot. You can easily walk to and visit: the Trestle Trail, Queens County Museum, Hank Snow Museum, Perkins House Museum, Fort Point Lighthouse Museum, Pine Grove Park, and the Astor Theatre.

You are steps away from ocean and riverside waterfronts, and beautiful streetscapes of older homes. Nearby services include: restaurants, banks, coffee shops, grocery stores, pharmacies and a bakery.

Beaches
The South Shore is renowned for splendid beaches. Within an easy 5 to 20 minute drive, you can visit Beach Meadows Beach and Summerville Beach. Visit the nearby Keji Seaside Adjunct to watch seals sunbathe on rocks along the shoreline.
