The Queens Museum of Justice & Exhibit Centre is housed in the Liverpool Court House, a historic building located within the Queens Heritage Complex in Liverpool, Nova Scotia.
The Liverpool Court House, built in 1854 in the Greek Revival temple style, is a beautiful Provincial Heritage Property that houses displays on the colonial history of the Justice system, thanks to the diaries (1766-1812) of Liverpool’s first Magistrate, Simeon Perkins. The theme of Justice is presented through his eyes.
Displays in the Court Room are dedicated to Justice and the historical preservation of the building.
