Our convenient and central park-like setting is right in the heart of Dartmouth, close to downtown Halifax. With the best staff you will find anywhere, your stay at Shubie Park Campground will be a first-class experience and one which will keep you coming back again and again!
When you are not exploring our beautiful city you can relax at the campground, take a dip in the lake with a supervised beach, play a game of tennis on our court, enjoy a stroll through the 75-acre park at our doorstep, or just sit by the fire pit and enjoy your surroundings. Shubie Park Campground prides itself in providing exceptionally clean washroom facilities, lovely gardens, a safe and secure campground (a 24-hour on-site manager) as well as friendly and helpful staff, all aimed at making your camping experience the best it can be.
Our accommodations include 76 serviced sites (6 with 3-way services, 70 with 2-way (water and electricity) services), and 28 unserviced sites. Laundry services, coin-operated showers, and wireless Internet are all available. There is a store, a canteen, and a disposal station.
Also available to rent – our on-site yurt! The yurt comes complete with two beds/couches (sleeps 4), two camp chairs, picnic table, fire pit and a lantern to light your way. Campers will be responsible for bringing their own linens, pillows and camping cooking supplies.
