Activate Halifax, now open in Dartmouth Crossing shopping district, is a futuristic gaming facility where players jump, climb, and dodge through hundreds of interactive game levels.

Activate features numerous game rooms filled with lasers, glowing floors, and even an interactive rock-climbing wall. One of our game rooms, MegaGrid, continuously goes viral on TikTok, hitting over half a billion views.

Groups of 3-5 players move freely between rooms, each filled with games of agility, precision, and problem-solving. With up to ten levels of difficulty and the choice of cooperative or competitive gameplay, visitors can customize their experience to their group, skill level, and style of play.

There are no VR headsets and players track their scores using a personalized RFID wristband that syncs with their user profile. These scores are saved from visit to visit, letting players compete with friends, climb the leaderboards, earn rewards, and even qualify for Activate’s Tournament of Champions.
