Overview

A renovated CN railway station where young Hank would sometimes seek shelter in, less than 3.5 km/2 miles from his childhood home. Here you’ll find audiovisual displays, artifacts, and memorabilia on the history and heritage of Canadian country music, featuring the legendary Hank Snow, Wilf Carter, Carroll Baker, George Canyon & others. 

The Centre is also home to the Nova Scotia Country Music Hall of Fame and special exhibit on local railroading history.

Gift shop on site. Live music & BBQ on Wednesdays 12-2pm taking place each July & August with many other shows throughout the year.

Annual Hank Snow Tribute held on the 3rd weekend in August.
