We offer both RV and tent sites, each having a unique set of characteristics. Whether you enjoy a site just metres from the Atlantic Ocean or something a little more secluded, you will surely find a site that suits your preferences. Located adjacent to the “Wild Islands Archipelago”, Murphy’s camping on the Ocean is perfectly situated for kayaking and boating. With an amazing array of ever-changing seascapes you can enjoy miles of unspoiled coastline while witnessing marine life, such as osprey, eagles, many other seabirds, seals, and porpoise.
Our accommodations include 46 serviced and unserviced sites, 3 rental trailers and a rustic loft located on our wharf with a fabulous 270° panoramic ocean view! Serviced sites are equipped with water and 15/30-amp electrical hook-up. Guest amenities include flush toilets, disposal station, free showers, laundry facilities, fire pits, wood and ice, free Wi-Fi, coffee and communal campfire. Campground facilities and activities include a clubhouse, recreation hall, playground, games, kayaking, swimming, fishing, crab fishing, a marina, kayak rentals, and boat tours. Pets are permitted.
Not to be missed, we also offer a number of packages that can be added to your stay to ensure that true Maritime experience. Packages include, lobster dinner and kayaking, lobster dinner, fish cake dinner and New Scotland breakfast.

Deposit policy:
Short-term camping reservations require a refundable deposit equal to the full amount of the reservation, up to a maximum of $500. Any remaining balance is due 7 days prior to arrival.
Boat charters, scenic boat tours, island drop offs and packages require a refundable deposit in full.
Cancellation policy:
Cancellations received with at least 7 days notice will have the full deposit amount returned.
Cancellations received with less than 7 days notice will lose the full deposit amount.
Cancellations that are initiated by Murphy’s Camping will have the full deposit amount returned.
*Notice is calculated as the amount of time prior to 2:00pm on the reservation start date.
