Located just a half hour drive from world-renowned UNESCO World Heritage Site, Lunenburg, and stunning Atlantic Ocean beaches, your drive to LaHave will bring you into rural Nova Scotia, where you will feel like you are a million miles away from everything!
Our quaint private campground sits on a forested property along the LaHave River in Lunenburg County. Our 15 acre property has 75 sites – from remote tent sites to serviced campsites for tents and trailers, seven tiny cabins and two rental trailers, as well as monthly and 51 seasonal spots. Pull through sites for larger RVs are available.
Our Accommodations
Our seven Tiny Cabins offer a cozy, rustic retreat for families wanting the simplicity of camping, with a few comforts! All tiny homes have a similar 10′ x 12′ floor plan featuring two double beds (one up in a small loft), a mini fridge, microwave, fan, small table and chair set, a deck, picnic table, firepit, 20-amp power, and an outdoor water tap. Accommodating up to 2 adults and 2 children, these pet-friendly cabins offer a rustic but comfortable camping experience for just $95 a night.
We have 2 rental trailers at LaHave River Campground, both of which offer the same great floor plan and are situated side-by-side, centrally located within the campground. Outside, the trailers are equipped with a deck, awning, patio set, small outdoor kitchen and fire pit. Indoors, you’ll have the comforts of a queen bedroom, large dinette, double bunk beds, a bathroom, shower, furnace and air conditioning. These rental trailers host up to 6 guests, they are not pet-friendly (our tiny cabins are!), and they rent for $160 a night.
The LaHave River Campground is your ultimate camping destination for family fun. Our grounds host swimming holes with a dock, a playground, dog run, horseshoe pits, washer toss, basketball, a pool table, darts and much more! Weekday camping is peaceful with plenty of space to spread out, and our weekends are jam-packed with activities for all ages! We’re hosting 97 events over the 2025 camping season, which runs from May 9th – October 14th!
