Our quaint private campground sits on a forested property along the LaHave River in Lunenburg County! Although only a half hour from world-renowned tourist towns and stunning Atlantic beaches, your drive to LaHave will bring you into rural Nova Scotia, where you will feel like you are a million miles away from everything! Our 15 acre property hosts remote tent sites, serviced campsites for tents and trailers, tiny cabins and rental trailers, as well as monthly and seasonal spots.
The LaHave River Campground is your ultimate camping destination for family fun! Our grounds host swimming holes with a dock, a playground, dog run, horseshoe pits, washer toss, basketball, a pool table, darts and much more! Weekday camping is peaceful with plenty of space to spread out, and our weekends are jam-packed with activities for all ages! We’re hosting 97 events over the 2025 camping season, which runs from May 9th – October 14th!
