Welcome to the LaHave River Campground!

Although we are only a half hour from world renowned tourist towns and Atlantic beaches, your trip to LaHave will bring you into rural Nova Scotia! As you drive down the hill into our forested, riverside campground you will feel like you’re a million miles away from anything.

The whole family is sure to have fun exploring our 15-acre grounds, which host swimming holes, a dock, playground, dog run, horseshoe pits, darts, washer toss, basketball nets, a pool table, and so much more! Know that our campground is quaint in size, offering roughly 90 campsites with a mix of unserviced tent sites, serviced sites for tents and trailers, tiny cabins and rental trailers, as well as seasonal spots. Weekdays at LaHave are quite quiet with plenty of space to fan out and enjoy the grounds, and weekends are sure to be more lively with organized family fun!

Our Accommodations

Tiny Cabins
Our 7 Tiny Cabins offer a cozy, rustic retreat for families wanting the simplicity of camping, with a few comforts! All tiny homes have a similar 10′ x 12′ floor plan featuring two double beds (one up in a small loft), a mini fridge, microwave, fan, small table and chair set, a deck, picnic table, firepit, 20-amp power, and an outdoor water tap. Accommodating up to 2 adults and 2 children, these pet-friendly cabins offer a rustic but comfortable camping experience for $95 a night.

Rental Trailers
Our 2 Rental Trailers are situated side-by-side, centrally located within the campground and offering the same great family friendly floor plan. Outside, the trailers are equipped with a deck, awning, patio set, small outdoor kitchen, and fire pit. Indoors, you’ll have the comforts of a queen bedroom, large u-shaped dinette, double bunk beds, a bathroom, shower, furnace and air conditioning. These rental trailers host up to a family of 6, they are not pet-friendly (our tiny cabins and campsites are!), and they rent for $170 a night.
