Overview

The Parkdale-Maplewood Museum located in Maplewood in the South Shore region offers a wealth of local heritage with exhibits showing rural life from 1840 to the present day. Our displays include hand crafts and folk art from local artisans; local industry; our native culture; a collection of household items and tools of the trade. Our Research Centre offers community and family histories, as well as photographs.

After a tour of our museum, browse through our gift shop where you will find handcrafted items by local artisans, books, a light snack and more. Catering is available (with notice). Bus tours are welcome.
