Overview

Brown’s Guest Home Bed & Breakfast is a quiet, restored 100 year-old Victorian home in Amherst which is located in the Northumberland Shore region.  We are a family-owned operation and have served travelers for over 60 years.

While staying with us, stroll downtown and enjoy Amherst’s Victorian architecture and heritage homes.  Guided walking tours of historical Amherst are available at various times of the year.  There are many walking and hiking trails, such as Amherst Point Bird Sanctuary, as well as wonderful beaches in its surrounding area.

We are just 45 minutes away from other attractions including Balmoral Grist Mill, Jost Vineyard, Cape Chignecto Provincial Park, Joggins Fossil Cliffs and the Fundy Geological Museum to name a few.

Our accommodations include 3 rooms (Queen, Double, Twin, Single) with 2 shared baths (2-piece and 4-piece).  Other amenities include a lounge with a television, Wi-Fi, as well as a complimentary healthy light breakfast from 7:30 am to 9:00 am. No tax charged.
