Overview

This Acadian Cultural and Interpretive Centre, located on the campus of Université Sainte-Anne in Church Point, is a vibrant hub of activity where residents, students and visitors meet. Situated under a bright red roof, the Centre houses an artist-run gallery « Le Trécarré », a visitor information centre, a 263-seat performance theatre, an outdoor performance area and an Acadian Interpretive Centre.

The Acadian Interpretive Centre features interpretive panels and multimedia exhibits introducing visitors to the culture of the Clare Acadians through their history, language, folklore, music and more. Bus tours welcome. Guided tours of the museum are free.

The centre is a trailhead for a 5-km network of walking trails that lead through forest, marsh and coastal environments. An orientation map, interpretive panels and an observation tower have been added. The trails are free to walk: pick up a map at the visitor centre.
