Discover some of the best views of the Cape Breton Highlands mountain range while travelling throughout the area that locals refer to as the “Top of the Island”. Stretching from Neil’s Harbour through Smelt Brook, White Point, and South Harbour to Dingwall, Cape North, Aspy Bay, Bay St. Lawrence and onto Meat Cove, you’ll experience incredible views and friendly communities all along your travels north of the the Cabot Trail at the top of Cape Breton Island.
Visit the location where John Cabot first landed in Cape Breton, watch for whales on a whale watching boat tour, kayak the calm ocean harbours and inlets or hike and mountain bike on rugged mountain trails with an experienced guide. In the winter months, take part in full moon cross country skiing group-led events at the area’s nordic ski facility.
