Bike the Fundy Coast Tour

Take in stunning Bay of Fundy views as you fat bike on the ocean floor, with an expert local guide, in the Cliffs of Fundy UNESCO Global Geopark!

Glide along the ocean floor on tires made for this terrain while taking in beautiful coastal scenery of Spencer’s Island. See views of Cape Split and Halls Harbour in the Annapolis Valley, across the bay. Pass by sculpted rock formations and ripples in the sand revealed by the low tide then, loop through a forest trail back to your starting point to watch the tide gently rise before your eyes.

Fat bikes, helmets, and expert local guides included. The Bay of Fundy, home to the world’s highest recorded tides, reveals a new landscape each tide – come explore it with Local Guy Adventures any time of year!

** Optional add-on to any package (May 1 – October 31): Fall asleep to the sounds of waves from a cozy, rustic wooden tent on the beach:

• Tents are 8′ x 12′ and 8′ high with a back screened in window and a zipper door. Two twin mattresses are provided, hot/cold shower and flush toilet available for guests on-site. Please bring your own bedding and other necessary comforts. Just +$60 per night.

Dates: Available year-round. Tour start times vary daily as we schedule around the Bay of Fundy tide times. Approximate time-slots are available through online booking.

Good to Know:

• Please arrive at least 20 minutes prior to your tour departure time to be fitted for equipment rentals.
• Minimum age for this tour is 12 with the youth being able to fit an adult fat bike.
• Bring a change of clothes and plan for warm and cooler temperatures including pants, shorts, t-shirt, sweater, change of footwear, sunscreen, sunhat, water bottle and preferred snacks.
• All Local Guy Adventures tours are customized to group participants. If you would like to get out on a bike for a longer or shorter amount of time, let them know and they will do their best to accommodate.
• Gratuities are not expected, but they are appreciated

Conditions & Cancellation: Advance booking is required; tour times depend on the tides and are different everyday however at time of booking you will be able to select a specific time slot to help you plan your visit. All visitors must sign a waiver. All tours require a minimum of 4 persons, max 8. Cancellation must be made at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled tour date. We do not accept cancellations after 48 hours unless you can fill the spaces with other participants. If Local Guy Adventures cancels the tour due to poor conditions you will receive a full refund or opportunity to be rebooked on the next available tour.
