Overview

The Sou’Wester Restaurant and Gift Shop, situated at the top of the tiny fishing village of Peggy’s Cove overlooking the famous Peggys Cove Lighthouse in Peggy’s Cove, specializes in home-style meals. We feature seafood chowder, fish and chips, haddock dinners and fresh-cooked lobster from our own lobster pound. Dessert specialities include homemade gingerbread and apple crisp.

During our off-season, we welcome you to try our hot cider — just the thing on a blustery winter’s day! Join us for breakfast hot off the grill until noon each day or come in to have a tasty dinner and enjoy Nova Scotia’s beauty at its very best!

Gift shop available onsite with plenty of Nova Scotia and Peggy’s Cove memorabilia and souvenirs.
