Overview

Inspired by an oyster stout, Sober Island Brewing Company uses whole fresh Pristine Bay Oysters in their flagship brew—Beth’s Black. This lighter-bodied stout has a salty sweet character – a true toast to our beautiful coast.

Stop into the taproom to say “hi”, try their beers, and experience a natural and comfortable space. The taproom boasts local beach rock and 15-foot benches and tables made from local maple trees.

With regular live music events and all their core brands on tap, you’re sure to have a good time. And because everyone likes to drink beer outside, they also have two beer gardens – one onsite, overlooking the water and a second further down the shore in Musquodoboit Harbour (7895 Hwy 7).
