Roseway Beach
Open year-round
Roseway Beach is an expansive sandy beach, perfect for long walks, birdwatching, and beach exploring. A shallow freshwater river separates two sections of the beach and connects an extensive wetland area to the ocean. The beach and neighbouring wetland are habitat for various bird species, including the protected piping plover, so it’s important to stay on designated paths.
Located in the Round Bay area, about 30 minutes from Shelburne, the beach has minimal facilities, including roadside parking and a seasonal portable toilet.
Bring a picnic and soak in the peaceful environment, being sure to pack-in, pack-out, to help protect this special area.
