Port Maitland Beach in the Yarmouth and Acadian Shores region offers a 1-km sand and cobble beach backed by a grassy picnic area and dunes. The park has supervised swimming in the summer months of July and August.
The nearby wharf and fishing boats are favourite subjects for painters and photographers. Beach is also a popular spot for stargazing at night.
Park amenities include change houses and vault toilets.
