Hunts Point Beach Cottages are nestled on a sheltered white-sand beach on Nova Scotia’s South Shore. We offer our guests a peaceful, serene atmosphere to enjoy the tranquility of the sea. Families enjoy building sand castles, having lazy days on the beach or exploring the many activities available in the area.
The cozy one-bedroom and more spacious two-bedroom oceanfront housekeeping cottages have a covered verandah. Rain or shine, you can sit and catch up on your reading or watch the waves which are no more than 50 feet from your front door. The insulated cottages have a 3-piece bath with shower, cable TV, Wi-Fi, and electric heat. The ocean keeps things cool on warm summer days. The cottages have double beds and efficiency or full kitchens. The interiors are finished with NS pine log siding and wood floors. We have built a reputation as a well-maintained, very clean, allergy-conscious property.
Also available are two newer housekeeping king suites. One is a large hotel room with an efficiency kitchen and a 3-piece bath. It has a combined living and dining area. The open concept design with only one step into the unit makes it our most accessible option. The upstairs executive/honeymoon suite is a gorgeous apartment with a full deck that overlooks the harbour, fishing wharf and beach. It has a full kitchen and 5-piece bath with a double whirlpool tub. The suite has a romantic canopy king bed. Luxury abounds in this richly appointed unit.

We are conveniently located within a two-hour drive from other tourist destinations – Halifax, Yarmouth, Annapolis Royal and Peggy’s Cove. Nearby are the historic communities of Liverpool, Shelburne, Mahone Bay and Lunenburg, each filled with museums and quaint shops to explore. There are several hiking trails, parks and geocaching opportunities in the area. Local guides offer both fresh- and saltwater fishing.
