Hunts Point Beach Cottages are nestled on a sheltered white-sand beach on Nova Scotia’s South Shore near the town of Liverpool. We offer our guests a peaceful, serene atmosphere where they can enjoy the tranquility of the sea. Perfect for families that enjoy building sand castles, for those looking to explore the many activities available in the area, as well as for anyone wishing for relaxing days on the beach.

Our 12 oceanfront housekeeping units include:

• two cozy one-bedroom king suites;
• five cozy one-bedroom cottages; and
• five spacious two-bedroom cottages

Rain or shine, you can sit on your accommodation’s covered verandah and catch up on your reading or watch the waves which are no more than 50 feet from your front door. The insulated cottages each have double beds, an efficiency or full kitchen, a private three piece bathroom with shower, cable TV, Wi-Fi, and electric heat. The ocean keeps things cool on warm summer days. The cottages interiors are finished with Nova Scotia pine log siding and wood floors.

The two newer housekeeping king suites are located in the same building – one at ground level and one on the second floor. The ground level unit is a large hotel room with a comfortable king bed, an efficiency kitchen and a private 3-piece bathroom and a combined living and dining area. The open concept design with only one step into the unit makes it our most accessible accommodation option. The upstairs executive/honeymoon suite is a gorgeous apartment with a full deck that overlooks the harbour, fishing wharf and beach and includes romantic canopy king bed, a full kitchen, and a 5-piece bathroom with a double whirlpool tub. Luxury abounds in this richly appointed king suite!

We are conveniently located within a two-hour drive from other tourist destinations – Halifax, Yarmouth, Annapolis Royal and Peggy’s Cove. Nearby are the historic communities of Liverpool, Shelburne, Mahone Bay and Lunenburg, each filled with museums and quaint shops to explore. There are several hiking trails, parks and geocaching opportunities in the area. Local guides offer both fresh and saltwater fishing.
