We serve handheld comfort food with roots in African Nova Scotian tradition — including cornbread, baked beans, and our signature wings — alongside art, crafts, and retail products from local African Nova Scotian artists and makers. More than just a place to eat, Freedom offers a rich educational experience—sharing powerful stories, uplifting community, and inviting all to engage with the vibrant and unique African Nova Scotian culture that has shaped Nova Scotia for over 200 years.
