We are proud to be the first Moxy to open in Canada, right here in downtown Halifax!
Forget everything you know about your typical traditional hotel experience, at the Moxy Halifax Downtown we’re here to show you a good time! At our brand-new “boutique style” hotel, you will not find your traditional front desk – we replaced that experience with a bar, living room, games room and library which sets the tone for a social, playful, and fun home-away-from-home experience. Our guests check in at Bar Moxy, our lobby bar in the center of it all and their first beverage is included in their rate – be it a cocktail, mocktail, or some other exciting offering.
The hotel’s vibrant communal space is the center of activity, giving guests exciting ways to work hard and play harder. From the communal public spaces to the smart and flexible 160 guestroom, including 18 studios with an open kitchen, Moxy embodies a bold, surprising design for the socially extroverted consumer.
Accessibility at Moxy Halifax
Moxy Halifax Downtown is a wheelchair accessible and hearing accessible hotel property, offering a number of accessible guestrooms that each include a visual fire alarm, visual doorbell light, and spacious bathroom with a walk-in/roll-in shower.
