Overview

The Fort Sackville Walkway is a multi-use 2-kilometre Active Transportation trail following the Sackville River from Range Park in Bedford through to Fish Hatchery Park and the mouth of the river in the Bedford Basin. The trail continues along the sidewalk to Scott Manor House and Fort Sackville (c. 1751).

Access to the trail is also available at Bedford Place Mall, Bedford SuperStore and Fish Hatchery Park, Bedford.

Popular trail activities include hiking, cycling, dog-walking, cross-country skiing and viewing a wide variety of flora and fauna.
