You will be sure to experience the best views and learn about the rich history and even some interesting unknown facts of our amazing harbour city and surrounding area on this cruise!

2.5 Hour Cruise:

Enjoy cruising along the beautiful Halifax waterfront taking in the lively sights and sounds as we venture towards the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21, and around Point Pleasant Park into the Northwest Arm. This is a leisurely cruise, allowing you to take in the amazing scenery and properties that can only be viewed from the water.

Once back to the mouth of the harbour, we cruise along the eastern side of Georges Island where you will see remnants of Fort Charlotte before turning towards the most amazing views of the Halifax waterfront with the bridges in the distance. This is the perfect backdrop for your group picture or that special moment together!

We then continue into The Narrows and under the iconic bridges, providing you the best views of our Royal Canadian Navy Fleet of the Atlantic. We conclude with showcasing from the water our newest must-see location, The Queen’s Marque District; formally known as Queen’s Landing. This site is rich in history since Halifax’s founding in 1749 and is the city’s newest and unique structure which includes a luxury boutique hotel, many shops, restaurants along with amazing artwork and exhibits.

Also, during your cruise there is always a good chance of seeing seals bobbing in the harbour or relaxing on the rocks at low tide near Point Pleasant Park.  You may even catch sight of harbour porpoise or pilot whales chasing mackerel fish, and on rare occasion, you may spot a mola mola (sunfish)!

3 Hour Cruise with McNab’s Island Visit:

This is the ultimate time out on the water! We begin with a slow cruise along the lively Halifax waterfront taking in the sights and sounds then continue past the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21, the container terminal, and Point Pleasant Park before reaching the charming Northwest Arm where we experience beautiful scenery and the exquisite properties within it. You will also learn the rich history of this serene inlet; much of it will be sure to surprise you!

Once we’ve finished visiting the Northwest Arm, we continue a short distance to the eastern side of McNab’s Island to visit Wrecks Cove. Here you can take a dip in the ocean water and cool off (conditions permitting, of course) or perhaps venture onto the beach and explore a bit of the island which is a provincial park.

We conclude by cruising along the eastern side of Georges Island where you can catch a glimpse of Fort Charlotte, before returning to the Halifax waterfront. During your cruise, you may see harbour seals and perhaps some harbour porpoise and pilot whales, along with many different species of sea birds. You may even catch a rare sighting of a mola mola (sunfish) awkwardly moving along the waters’ surface!
