Learn More About Windsor

Known as “the little town of big firsts”, Windsor is known as the Birthplace of Hockey in Canada, home to the world’s largest pumpkins AND the oldest agricultural fair in North America.

In 1765, the New England Planters who had founded the town of Windsor held an agricultural fair to give local farmers the chance to share some of their harvests and proudly display their livestock. Today, over 250 years later, the fair continues as the Hants County Exhibition and is the oldest agricultural fair in North America.
