Parka’s Great Sleepover – Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site

Looking for a family-fun activity to end the summer with a bang? Parka’s Great Sleepover might be just the thing for you!

On August 19, 2023 you are invited to spend the night at the Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site to enjoy an evening of family-friendly games. Roast marshmallows over a campfire and star gaze at the site of the first observatory in Canada! The evening begins at 5:30 pm, when you will be checked-in to your campsite complete with tents, lanterns and floor mats. This event, presented by the Fortress Louisbourg Association and Parks Canada, offers an unforgettable family camping trip in a truly unique location!
