Overview

Embark on a walking tour through Halifax’s downtown core where you will be enthralled with tales of ghosts, spirits, forerunners and devils, collected from the folklore of Nova Scotia along with a decent helping of historical context to lay the ground work for each story.

Tours start at 8:30pm from The Old Town Clock and finish on the waterfront by the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic. The tour takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes. During peak times, earlier tours may be added.

Pet policy
No dogs please; registered service animals only. The nature of our tour is based on storytelling and creating an atmosphere that draws our guests into the stories. If a dog on the tour has a reaction or barks at a dog passing by, or if more than one dog is brought to the tour and they don’t get along, it breaks the spell and becomes a distraction. We thank you for your understanding.
