Overview

The restored Sydney & Louisbourg Railway Museum, located in the original railway station that was built in 1895, examines the history of the S&L Railway, railway technology and marine artifacts. The original freight shed houses a working model of the line and rolling stock includes two passenger cars circa 1881 and 1914, a box car, tank car and caboose.

Visit the Roundhouse to view displays featuring locally handmade quilts.
