The Train Station Bike and Bean is a cafe and full-service bike shop, which rents and sells bicycles. We are located in Upper Tantallon, which is about 25 minutes south of Halifax on the Lighthouse Route, just off Highway 103.
Rentals We rent bikes by the day (2-24 hours) or week and have a selection of premium hybrid bikes, gravel bikes and e-bikes. Both adult and kids bikes available.
All bikes come with a helmet. We can also supply a lock and repair kit when needed, at no charge.
Conveniently located on the Rum Runners Trail We are perfectly situated along the scenic St. Margaret’s Bay Trail section of the Rum Runners Trail, a 119-kilometre multi-use trail along former railbed and connecting Halifax and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Lunenburg. From our location right on the trail, take a half-day or multi-day adventure to explore the many coastal communities along the trail.
