Overlooking the golden sands of Queensland Beech and the whole of St. Margaret’s Bay, the Surfside Inn is centrally located on the Lighthouse Route of the South Shore region of Nova Scotia. Originally built by a sea captain in the late 1800s, this country inn has been restored, keeping the Victorian elegance and antiques, while providing all the modern amenities. Our beds with new Beauty rest mattresses will make you feel like royalty as you snuggle under cozy duvets and let the rhythm of the waves lull you to sleep.
Queensland Provincial Park is located directly across from the Surfside Inn and offers supervised swimming. Other area activities include deep sea fishing, golf, bird watching, hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, and skating. We are also just a short drive away from the world-famous Peggy’s Cove lighthouse.
Our accommodations include eight units with queen beds, ensuite double or single whirlpool baths, Smart TV, Netflix, wireless Internet, radio, ceiling fan, hairdryer, most rooms have an ocean/lake view, mini-fridge and air conditioners. Six rooms are located on the second floor and two are on the main floor; there is no elevator. Breakfast is not available. Restaurant by reservation only.
