Overview

Explore the natural beauty of Skye River Trail in We’koqma’q to connect with Mi’kmaw culture. Stroll the trail through the scenic woods, relax in nature and enjoy views of the river flowing to the Bras d’Or Lake, Canada’s largest inland sea. Look for eagles soaring above, as they watch for fish in the sparkling waters of the river. Learn about the community and history of the area through interpretive panels.
