Come for a magical getaway in our hand crafted cabin. Tucked away in the woods along side a babbling brook.
This is a wonderful cabin experience you won’t forget!
Welcome to the cabin! We’ve spent 3 years building every piece of this cabin by hand to create a unique and magical vacation spot for you. It truly is a wonderful forest hideaway.
From the moment you walk in you feel at home, it is cozy and relaxing while offering all the modern amenities you need.
The 100 foot long board walk welcomes you into the forest.
The cabin is surrounded, 360 degrees, with decks and covered porch. A magical babbling brook called “Penny Brook” runs down the full length of the property and can be seen from cozy couch inside.
The cabin is a timber framed open concept cabin with a full height loft. Upstairs the bedroom is tucked under a roof of skylights and from the queen sized bed you can see the stars at night.
The kitchen is well equipped and we offer coffee and tea plus all the basic kitchen amenities you could ask for.
We have high speed wi-fi, a turntable and record collection, a wood stove, high-end linens and a detached bathhouse with running water and a beautiful shower.
For summer we offer a charcoal BBQ’s for use on the deck.
There are four great deck chairs outside and lots of places to hang out for evening meals or morning coffee.
The bathroom is built as a separate building a few steps across the deck from the main cabin. It has a nice glass shower with a big window looking out into the forest and two shower heads.
We have a hand built wood fired hot tub tucked in the woods by the river just steps from the cabin. The tub will be filled with water and ready to light a fire in when you arrive. It’s a bit of a labour of love, you will want to stoke the fire and stir the water every half hour for about 3-4 hours (depending on temperature) but once it gets warm it is a magical experience to float next to the river under the spruce branches!
The cabin is perfect for weekend retreats, romantic nights, anniversaries, winter getaways, celebrations, beach going summer holidays, escaping the city and spending time tucked in the forest. It is a great year-round escape.
