Sea’scape Cottages is located off Old Ferry Road in Bayfield, Antigonish County, in the Northumberland Shore region, midway between Halifax and the world-renowned Cabot Trail on Cape Breton Island.
Our 160-acre coastal beach property offers guests panoramic views of the ocean with two supervised beach locations located a short drive away at Bayfield Beach Provincial Park and Pomquet Beach Provincial Park which is also a wheelchair accessible beach. Enjoy the views while beachcombing and experiencing unsurpassed birdwatching opportunities. Just a sampling of local activity available to you includes swimming, hiking, canoeing, fishing, golf and birdwatching from our cottage decks. Don’t forget to ask about our fresh lobster boils and fire pits!
Guests can also enjoy Festival Antigonish, one of the finest professional theatres in Nova Scotia. Given our central location, our guests are able to explore the area and much of the province in easy day trips.
Our accommodations include three 2-bedroom housekeeping cottages and a bachelor cabin (Single, Double, Queen and sofa-beds). Each cottage is equipped with a 3-piece bath, full kitchen (including a microwave oven), fibre op Wi-Fi, ceiling fans, AC and a private sundeck. Some cottages are non-smoking. Two sheltered barbeque stations and fire pits are available. Visa and MasterCard are accepted.
