The Rum Runner Inn is located in the town of Lunenburg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site found along the South Shore of Nova Scotia. The inn provides our visitors with the ever changing enthralling play of light and sea life against the marvelous backdrop of the Lunenburg waterfront.

We look forward to welcoming you to one of our 13 rooms in our Main Building or one of the 4 rooms in our Studio House. Enjoy the view over the ocean from our balconies in our Main Building (6 rooms) or the shared veranda area for the 7 rooms that do not come with the attached view. Our Studio House allows for a more private outdoor experience being set back from the road overlooking the harbourfront from either the terrace or the panoramic skylights in the upper floor rooms. All 17 of our rooms feature bright beautiful decor, king size beds, air-conditioning, and have a private 3-piece (shower) or 4-piece bathroom. Additional amenities include roku TV, Wi-Fi, hairdryer, and fridge. Rooms in our Studio House feature a kitchenette with microwave and induction cooking plate.

Enjoy a day’s adventure strolling among the many shops and galleries of Lunenburg, learning about the history of seafaring at the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic, taking in a round of golf at the Bluenose Golf Course and finishing off the day at one of the many restaurants only steps away from our door.

Historic note: this waterfront century mansion is where the original sails for the Bluenose were made.
