Located in Saulnierville in the Yarmouth & Acadian shores region, Rest Ashore Vacation Rentals & Seaside Camping has been operating since 2022, welcoming travellers as they discover our oceanfront vacation rentals, our few fully serviced RV sites, plus additional spacious sites for tenting and dry camping, all with a seaside view and a path to the water. You’ll experience the calm and grounding that comes from the salty shores of majestic southwest Nova Scotia from the 500+ feet of shoreline on our seven acre property.
All sites are just steps across the grass to walk the shoreline or even dabble in the cool and refreshing, salty water.
Rest Ashore has a Comfort Station that is available to all guests. It has a two-piece shower room, and a separate two-piece washroom, and is located steps away from any of the sites.
Accommodation details
Two fully equipped RVs: both with 2 bedrooms plus additional sleeping options available. Each RV has 1 queen bed with 4 single bunks, plus additional sleeping options in the living and dining areas. Bathrooms are 3-piece private and located within each RV.
One renovated 1977 Boler Mini: complete with a double bed which converts to the dining table with seating for four at one end, and a couch that can convert into bunk beds at the opposite end. The living space in between the sleep areas is where you’ll find the kitchenette.
One glamping dome: our Acadian Dome comes complete with one queen bed, comfortable chairs and has electricity and we provide a jug of filtered water with an electric pump inside. Located close the to comfort station washroom/shower facilities, there is a picnic table with umbrella and comfy chairs to relax and enjoy the view from the dome’s deck. If you’re travelling super light and and require bedding and towels, be sure to add this option during the reservation stage!
Visitors staying in the accommodations have full access to the shared comfort station with its separate washroom and shower-room.
RV/trailer and campsite details
Each of our seven RV/trailer sites have access to power, water, and sewer along with wi-fi. All are easily accessible for even the largest RVs with plenty of space to extend bump-outs and set-up your own sitting area with an unobstructed view of the ocean and shoreline along St. Mary’s Bay.
Four RV/trail/tent sites that can accommodate an RV/trailer or can be a spacious site for a tent.
One tent site is nestled in a wild apple orchard and has a path that leads to the rocky shoreline. Perfect for cyclists or anyone seeking a protected spot close to the ocean.
On-site activities Guests are welcome to bring their own equipment for all available options on premises.
