Overview
Back in 2009 siblings Heather and Christian Rankin hatched a plan to create something a little different in Halifax. A wine bar that was both informal yet special; social yet cozy. A neighbourhood spot where people met for memorable wine and food with service that was engaged and unscripted. What resulted was Obladee.
Obladee combines the international concept of a wine bar with our unique Nova Scotian spirit and hospitality. We offer an award-winning wine list that is hand-selected, off-beat and ever-changing.
Our food changes with the seasons, focusing on locally-sourced ingredients from a close network of local producers.
