The Lunenburg Oceaview Chalets are log-style chalets situated in a peaceful and quiet setting just outside of Lunenburg, along the South Shore region of Nova Scotia.
The historic town of Lunenburg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, has a working fishing village and possesses vivid colours and fascinating history. Visit the many shops, galleries, museums and restaurants in the scenic coastal town. The Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic tells the tale of the town’s seafaring heritage and you can view the famed schooner Bluenose II in her home port.
We are minutes to the Rails to Trails Walking Trail, and just next door to sailing tours and bicycle rentals. The chalets are in a central South Shore location, making day trips to Peggy’s Cove and its world-famous lighthouse, the picturesque Three Churches of Mahone Bay or the vineyards and orchards of the Annapolis Valley a breeze.
Our accommodations include six well-equipped 1- and 2-bedroom log chalets with twin or queen beds and sofa beds, and 4-piece baths with air-jet tub; one with a roll-in shower. Cable television, DVD player, wireless Internet, a fireplace, a full kitchen, iron and ironing board available in each cabin and guests can take advantage of our covered deck and barbecue. Relax in front of the fire and watch a movie. Small pets are welcome with permission.
We are a proud member of the Tourism Industry Association of Nova Scotia. Most major credit cards accepted.
