Overview
Discover the impact of the “new” education system on our province! The effects of the 1864 Education Act and the improvements in teacher training are explored in this one-room common school located on the former Nova Scotia Teachers College campus.
The archives contain records of students of the Normal School-Teachers College. Volunteers are happy to assist genealogists in locating records of their ancestors.
Hours of Operation:
June to August: Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm
September to May: Wednesday mornings by chance, or by appointment
