Our lovingly furnished cottage, located amidst wild blueberry fields on our 2,000 acre farm on Lindsay Lake in Middle Musquodoboit, is the perfect place to relax and unwind, explore the Canadian wilderness or get a glimpse of our farm life. We emigrated from Germany to Nova Scotia in 2020 to fulfill our lifelong dream and have called Lindsay Lake Farms our home ever since.
Moose River Cottage, formerly an old farmhouse, has been extensively renovated and furnished with great attention to detail. Every piece of furniture can tell its own story, some of it has been in the family for a very long time and has started the journey across the pond with us. The paintings on the walls are also fond memories of a special artist in the family. They give the rooms a special color touch. Moose River Cottage is an exceptional place with a unique feel-good atmosphere.
A fully equipped kitchen with a great view of the blueberry fields inspires to cook delicious dishes with local ingredients, the dining room is the perfect place to celebrate meals together with family and/or friends. The living room invites you to linger and relax. On the 1st floor are the tastefully furnished bedrooms (2 double beds, 2 single beds) and the bathroom. A look out the window opens up the view of the beautiful Musquodoboit Valley.
Nestled within our farm, Lindsay Lake is completely private. Guests of our cottage have exclusive access to the lake. Enjoy the beauty of the untouched nature, swim in the crystal clear waters of the lake or relax on the shore. Lindsay Lake is the perfect place to get away from it all and relax surrounded by nature.
