Located in historic Yarmouth along the Yarmouth and Acadian Shores region, the Lakelawn Motel is anchored by a stately mansion built in 1864 with character and charm. This landmark motel sits at Yarmouth’s historic golden horse intersection, the beginning of both the Evangeline and Lighthouse Trails, and is only a five-minute drive to the Yarmouth International Airport.
The town and its surroundings offer a variety of activities for visitors. There are five golf courses within a one-hour drive, beautiful parks, historic walks, fishing villages, museums, great shopping, restaurants and more. Nearby attractions include the Yarmouth County Museum, the Firefighters Museum of Nova Scotia, and the Cape Forchu Lightstation.
Our accommodations include 25 units with either single, twin, double or queen-sized beds. 21 of the units come with private 4-piece baths and cable television; 1 has a kitchen. The other 4 are bed and breakfast rooms in a sea captain’s house, complete with ensuite 3- or 4-piece baths and television. A full complimentary breakfast is provided for all units. Our dining room is open for breakfast from 7-9 a.m. Guest amenities include complimentary coffee, wireless Internet, and free parking.
