Hope for Wildlife
Open year-round
Hope for Wildlife is a charitable organization based in Seaforth, Nova Scotia, dedicated to wildlife rescue, rehabilitation, and environmental education. Since 1997, we have rehabilitated and released over 80,000 injured and orphaned animals, representing more than 250 species.
Our mission extends beyond rehabilitation. We are committed to promoting wildlife conservation and fostering a deeper understanding of the natural world. Through educational outreach to schools, community groups, and the general public, we aim to inspire action. Additionally, our research efforts contribute valuable data on local wildlife populations to support ongoing conservation and management initiatives.
Visitors can explore our Education Centre, outdoor Wildlife Gardens Trail, and Observation Tower. We also have a Gift Shop, Café, and many educational displays. We offer tours throughout the day, as well as the opportunity to meet over 30 educational animals, including native wildlife, exotic species, and domestic animals.
We are open to the general public on the following days:
Saturdays: 12 PM to 3 PM (Year-Round)
Wednesdays: 12 PM to 3 PM (from May 1st to December 18th)
Admission is free, though donations are always welcome and much appreciated. No advance booking is necessary.
