Located at the corner of Sackville Drive and Cobequid Road in Lower Sackville. Fultz House Museum offers a collection reflecting over 200 years of Beaver Bank, Kinsac, Lucasville and Sackville history. Documents, photos, garments, tools, and artifacts of 19th-century Sackville and the surrounding areas fill the Fultz House (c 1865).
In addition to the house, an original cooperage, a working replica of a blacksmith shop, and a carriage house (all wheelchair-accessible) are also a part of the Museum’s collection. A replica stagecoach and other wagons are on display.
The Fultz House Museum also houses the Sackville Heritage Archives, which has primary and secondary sources of information, that captures moments from the 1800’s through to contemporary times.
Visitors can take a stroll along nature trails and explore the beautiful gardens and grounds, including the Veterans Memorial Cenotaph.
Fultz House Museum also hosts special events and exhibits throughout the season. Parking is available on Memory Lane via Cobequid Road.
